Mrs. Ferguson

Hello, my name is Amanda Ferguson.  I am a native of Habersham County, and I am married to Larry Ferguson. We both grew up in Habersham and love raising our family here.  We have two sons together. Hank is our oldest and attends the University of North Georgia, and Whit is in 10th grade at Habersham Central.  We truly love living in the beautiful North Georgia mountains, and I am blessed to teach 2nd grade at Hazel Grove. It is the sweetest school that feels more like an extended family.  I have been teaching elementary school for 22 years (17 years in 2nd grade.) I have a bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia in child and family development and a master's degree in early elementary education from Piedmont College.
