Mrs. Todd
My name is Sandy Todd and I have the blessing of being the Assistant Principal at Hazel Grove Elementary. I am a proud Habersham County native and I graduated from Habersham Central in 1997. I received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary education from Emmanuel College, my master’s degree in Elementary Math Instruction from Walden University, and my specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University.
This is my 25th year in education. I was a classroom teacher for 12 years in all grades kindergarten through fifth grade, an instructional coach for 9 years, and this is my fourth year as assistant principal. These opportunities have grown me into the educator that I am today. I have had a passion for teaching and learning my whole life.
My husband Michael and I live in Alto and we have one daughter, Destiny who is a senior in college at UNG majoring in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. She will graduate May 2026 with her Bachelor’s degree and will be getting married in June 2026.
I am so honored to be the assistant principal at Hazel Grove Elementary. We believe strongly in educating the whole student and are very excited to watch our little Rams as they become rooted in greatness and rise in excellence!
