Jennifer Porter

My name is Jennifer Porter, and I am grateful to be part of the Hazel Grove family! I am a lifelong resident of Habersham County, and I am currently a fourth grade teacher in our sweet school. I hold a bachelor's degree and master's degree from Piedmont College.  Throughout my 20 years in education, I have taught first and third grades. I have also served as an instructional coach and assistant principal.

It is an honor to teach, guide, inspire, and care for our children. I strive to build a safe classroom community built on respect, integrity, strong work ethic, and good character.  My hope is to instill a love of learning, foster a sense of worth and confidence, and help equip my students with the tools they need to have the successful and happy futures they all deserve.
